What time is check-in and check-out?
Check-in time is 4 PM. While we understand that you're anxious to start your vacation, we ask that you plan your travel time accordingly and do not go to the rental property until you've checked in at our office. Check-out time is 10 AM. Keys must be returned to our office by 10:15 AM on your check out day and you may not go back to the rental property once keys have been returned.
Where do I pick up my keys and check-in information?
Check in is at our office location at 24 Village Green Drive Suite 101, Ocean View, DE 19970 (directly across from the pro shop and golf cart pick up area in the Bear Trap community). Your check-in packet will include keys, our after-hours emergency number, and local information.
What if I'm arriving when the office is closed?
Please come to our office at 24 Village Green Suite 101, Ocean View, DE 19970 (directly across from the Pro Shop and golf cart pick up area in the Bear Trap Community) to check-in at the appropriate time for your vacation home. If your arrival will be after 5:00 pm, please call our office at (302) 257-5555 to make pick-up arrangements. Our office closes PROMPTLY at 5:00 pm. We will make every attempt to contact you prior to closing; however, it is the renter’s responsibility to contact our office for arrangements.
What is provided at my rental property? What should I bring?
A "Starter-Pack" may be provided, however, this is not a guaranteed. You will find the rentals will have a full kitchen with utensils, plate ware, and kitchenware.
You should bring (or purchase after arrival) food, paper products, bed and bath linens (unless rented through us), laundry supplies, toiletries, etc. NOTE: WIFI is not a guarantee, although, most properties provide it we cannot control the quality or reliability.
What happens if I cancel my reservation?
Cancellations with refunds will only be made within 14 days after making the initial hold. There will be no refunds after the 14th day unless property is rented by another party, then a partial refund is given. The processing fee is non-refundable. All cancellations must be in writing. If a reservation is made within 30 days of arrival, there are no refunds for cancellations at any time. It is strongly recommended that you purchase vacation insurance if you feel for any reason that you might have to change your plans. The owner or his agent reserves the right to cancel any reservation prior to occupancy, and will in this event refund all monies received.
When/how will my security deposit be returned?
All our properties either collect a non- refundable $49.00 fee for the “Accidental Damage Protection Program”, or a refundable security deposit. The security deposits vary depending on the property owner. The minimum amount is $250.00. All deposits will be processed within 30 days of check out and will be returned to the guest less any costs for repairs or excessive housekeeping charges if property is not left as required. We will also withhold part of the deposit if all keys, pool tags, parking permits, and any of the owner’s personal property are not returned.
